Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions are written in a way that aims to keep everything simple and clear – we try not to fill it with jargon and ambiguous text. Any technical terms will be outlined in the “Definitions” section of this document. This, along with a Wedding Agreement drafted for each Client, will form the basis of our agreement to capture the wedding. In signing any Wedding Agreement provided by Millennium Media, you also agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

In this document, the terms “Millennium Media”, “Millennium”, “our”,  “we” and “us” refer to Millennium Media, and the terms “Client”, “you” and “your” refer to you – the Bride, Groom or couple looking to reserve our services for the videography of your wedding.

Along with these Terms and Conditions, each Client will be provided with a “Wedding Agreement” (A.K.A. “Agreement”). This will outline the agreed date(s) and time(s) that our services are reserved for, and what we have agreed to film, including but not limited to a full list of Deliverables and the total agreed price.

The term “Deliverables” refers to any piece of work and final product provided by Millennium Media to the Client.

Standard Terms and Conditions

Booking and Deposit

Upon requesting our services for an agreed date and time, a deposit of 20% of the agreed total price is immediately payable in order to secure your booking dates. Only after receipt of the deposit payment, will we reserve the agreed dates, and ensure to not book any other work which would interfere with these dates. You have a period of 14 days as a “cooling-off” period – meaning if you change your mind during this period, your deposit will be fully refundable. After the cooling-off period of 14 days, your deposit will be non-refundable if you choose to cancel your booking.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance after the deposit has been paid is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding day, although you may pay the full balance early if you wish to tick it off the list. We accept payment via direct bank transfer and PayPal – details of which will be provided on your invoice.

Failure to submit the remaining balance by the specified due date may result in the termination of the Wedding Agreement. Millennium Media reserves the right to terminate the Agreement if full payment is not received within the stipulated time frame. In the event of termination, any paid deposits will be non-refundable.

Creative Control

While we will work closely with you to define what you want out of your wedding video, Millennium Media reserves full creative control over all Deliverables. Disagreements with the artistic direction of any Deliverable does not constitute a valid reason for the termination of any Wedding Agreement. Millennium Media will also not be responsible for any lost filming opportunities due to circumstances in or out of their control, including but not limited to other camera flashes, the lateness of the Clients or guests and existing scenery or lighting conditions which may negatively impact the quality of any Deliverables.

Revisions

Millennium Media agrees to accommodate a maximum of 2 revisions for each Deliverable at no additional cost. A revision constitutes a small change to a Deliverable, such as changing a single shot or amending the time at which a single shot appears. Larger revisions such as amending multiple shots or changing the music are not covered within the agreed price. All definitions of an applicable revision are defined exclusively by Millennium Media.

Millennium Media kindly requests that any revisions be communicated within a period of two weeks from the date of receiving the initial edit. Revisions requested beyond this timeframe may be subject to additional charges, and their acceptance will be at the discretion of Millennium Media.

Delivery

Millennium Media commits to delivering all wedding videography Deliverables within a 12-week period from the wedding date.

As a standard practice, Millennium Media will provide an online link via VidFlow, enabling you to access all Deliverables conveniently. Additionally, we will retain a hard copy for a duration of 12 months from the date of delivery. After this period, we cannot guarantee the availability of all Deliverables. Clients may request a ‘hard copy’ file within the 12-month retention period, and Millennium Media will provide it upon request.

Any requests for additional formats such as USBs, DVDs, or other media will incur an additional charge. Clients are encouraged to inquire about specific formats and associated costs before making such requests.

Ownership Rights

Millennium Media reserves all ownership rights to all Deliverables and any material therein, including all video footage, both edited and unprocessed, and still photographs where applicable.
